Women’s Health Symposium Planned for Nov. 3
Symposium is sponsored by the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce and Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Exhibit space, Sponsorships for event are available until Oct. 19.
The Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce and Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital have partnered to present “The Women’s Health Symposium,” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Crystal Grand Banquets, 12416 Archer Ave. in Lemont.
The event will feature exhibitors and hospital screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and BMI (body max index) as well as total lipid panel (includes HDL, LDL and triglycerides and requires a 12-hour fast prior to the screening).
Exhibitors and screenings will take place between 10 a.m. and noon, followed by lunch and speakers from noon to 2 p.m.

Cheryl Domberg of Mrs. Domberg’s Culinary Experience will be the keynote speaker for the luncheon, sharing “Healthy Eating Strategies For Today’s Hectic, Stress Filled World.”
Additional speakers will include Shamin Patel, M.D., on top advances in gynecological surgical techniques; Patricia Madej, M.D., on individualized choices for breast cancer treatment; Buthaina Jabir, M.D., on women’s preventative care; and James McMahon, M.D., on women’s heart health.

Tickets for the symposium and lunch cost $25 per person or $200 for a table of 10 with premium seating. Walk-ins may purchase a ticket at the door for $30 each (including lunch).
Exhibitors may register for $75 each, which includes two lunch tickets.
Sponsorships are also available, from gold level at $1,000, which includes an exhibitor booth, 10 lunch tickets and a full-page ad in the program book; silver level at $500, including booth, five lunch tickets and a half-page ad; and bronze level at $250, which booth, two lunch tickets and a quarter-page ad.
Ad-book only advertising is also available. The deadline for sponsorships and ad book advertising is Oct. 19.
A portion of the proceeds for the event will be donated to the American Heart Association.
