VIDEO: Hundreds Enjoy St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Lemont
Elected officials, community groups and local marching bands all participated in the village's annual parade and festival Saturday.
The kicked off St. Patrick's Day celebrations a week early with its annual parade and festival in downtown Lemont on Saturday.
Parade participants included Lemont Mayor Brian Reaves, village trustees, State Rep. Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs), Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-3rd), the Lemont Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Lemont Area Historical Society, Lemont Lions, Lemont Fire Protection District, Lemont Police Department, Lemont Park District, Lemont Public Works and the Hughes Academy of Irish Dance.
