Sign up to 'Celebrate Lemont' in Keepataw Days Parade
Register until midnight Thursday to participate in the annual Labor Day event, which steps off at 1 p.m. Monday in downtown Lemont.
The theme of the 63rd annual Keepataw Days Parade is “Celebrate Lemont,” and organizers are giving those who would like to participate in the annual event ample time in which to sign up.
According to Keepataw Days Festival Committee Vice President Wendy Peebles, parade entries will be accepted up until midnight Thursday. Participation in the parade is free of charge.
There is also no charge to organizations or businesses who want to promote their services or products – as long as they aren’t selling anything, Peebles said.
