Relay for Life Plans Weekend Fundraiser in Lemont
Volunteers will be collecting money Friday and Saturday in front of Chipain's Fresh Market and at the intersections of State and 127th streets and State and Illinois streets.
Volunteers from Relay for Life of Lemont-Homer Glen will hold a Tag Days fundraiser Friday and Saturday in Lemont.
Teams will be collecting money at the intersections of State and Illinois streets and State and 127th streets, and in front of Chipain's Fresh Market, 1100 State St.
All money will go to the American Cancer Society.

During Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser of the American Cancer Society, participants walk for up to 24 hours to raise awareness and funding for cancer research.
The Lemont-Homer Glen event will be held Friday, July 12, through Saturday, July 13, at the Lemont High School Sports Complex, 12900 131st St.
