Relay for Life Hosts 'Concert for a Cure'

The band "Reckless" will play at 9:30 p.m. Friday at This Must Be the Place.

Volunteers with the Lemont-Homer Glen Relay for Life will host a on Friday night to benefit the American Cancer Society.

The event will be held from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at , 206 Main St. Reckless, a rock cover band, will take the stage at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door.

Relay for Life of Lemont-Homer Glen will take place Friday, July 8, through Saturday, July 9, at the Lemont High School Sports Complex, 12900 131st St.

Since 2005, the event has raised more than $390,000 for cancer research and treatment through the American Cancer Society.
