Lemont Park District Foundation Hosts Annual Golf Outing

The event will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gleneagles Country Club in Lemont.

The Lemont Park District Foundation's "For the Community Golf Outing" on Friday to raise money for its Helping Hand Award program.

The event will be held at 2 p.m. at Gleneagles Country Club, 13070 McCarthy Road. Check-in begins at noon, and dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Over the past several years, the foundation's Helping Hand Award program has assisted families in need by providing financial support for approved candidates who join various park district programs. Awards are given to resident families who meet eligibility requirements and have proven their need.

Last year, the foundation awarded more than $5,900 in Helping Hand Awards—from preschool to gymnastics, swim team to basketball, and much more.

Registration for the golf outing is $175 per golfer or $600 per foursome. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf and a cart, a buffet dinner, drinks on the course and prizes.
