Lemont Fitness Center Hosts Group Workout to Benefit 4-Year-Old Fighting Leukemia

Next Level Fitness in Lemont will hold two CrossFit training sessions Saturday—10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.—for their "Stay Strong for Samuel" fundraiser.

in  will host a group workout Saturday to raise money for a local boy fighting leukemia.

The fitness facility, located at 12301 S. New Ave., will host two CrossFit workout sessions—one at 10 a.m. and one at 11:30 a.m.—for their "Stay Strong for Samuel" campaign. The cost for each class is a $5 donation.

Samuel is the 4-year-old cousin of Next Level parter Guy Petruzelli. Samuel was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is facing at least three years of treatment.

CrossFit is a fitness program program that uses a variety of techniques from weightlifting, gymnastics and metabolic conditioning. Next Level Fitness, which opened earlier this year in the Resicom business park, offers CrossFit classes led by certifed trainers and former professional athletes.
