Lemont Christian Ministerial Association Announces 9/11 Ceremony

A remembrance service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lemont Township Community Center.

A will be held in Lemont on Sunday, Sept. 11, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The service, which is being hosted by the Lemont Christian Ministerial Association, will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the , 16300 Alba St.

Reflections will be offered Lemont Fire Chief Carl Churulo and Lemont Police Cmdr. Dan Tully.

Music will be provided by the Southwest Community Concert Band.

Bolingbrook: A parade will be held at 2 p.m. at Bolingbrook High School, 365 Raider Way.

Darien: A memorial will be held at 8:45 a.m. at the Darien-Woodridge Fire District, 7550 Lyman Ave.

Woodridge: A memorial ceremony will be held at 8:59 a.m. at the Woodridge Town Center, 5 Plaza Drive.
