Sprucing up Legion park

The Lemont Garden Club, in cooperation with the Lemont Park District, will be weeding and sprucing up Legion Park from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 20. 

Legion Park, 111 Main St.,  is across from the Metra train station.

Volunteers should wear long pants and bring, if available, garden tools for weeding.

Please come and help.  The men and women who have served our country are honored there, and the least we can do is keep the park clean.
