Penny is a brand new arrival at the West Suburban Humane Society. Her previous owners took her to the vet to get spayed, but the vet refused because Penny is pregnant.

A volunteer at the shelter who will be fostering Penny expects her to give birth any day! No word yet on the number of puppies she's carrying, but they will all be available for adoption in about 12 weeks.
