Does a correlation exist between men’s overall health to low testosterone? Some researchers are discovering connections between low testosterone and other health conditions.
For years, studies have shown that men with low testosterone levels are more likely to suffer from depression, erectile dysfunction, and high blood pressure. And, now links have been found with testosterone deficiency and other medical conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure.
“It is worth taking a look at the possible connections of low testosterone and these health problems,” said Dr. Ernesto Tan, urologist on staff at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. By recognizing and addressing these connections early on, men can possibly avoid more serious conditions.”
