About the Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons

The International Order of King’s Daughters and Sons is the founding organization of Silver Cross Hospital and is one of the oldest Christian service organizations in the United States. Founded in 1890, the Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons continues to support the dream and project started by a small group of local women over a century ago—to build Silver Cross Hospital.  Today, the Union is comprised of 101 men and women in 8 circles and one junior circle.  The junior circle offers a fine opportunity for young people to learn about volunteering.
