A cooking competition designed especially for our young chefs 5 to 18 years old, will be held Sunday, April 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lemont Township Community Center.
Calling all of Lemont’s young sous chefs 5-18 year of age! This is your chance to show your culinary skills in all, two or one of the following categories:
- Appetizer/Salads
- Entrée
- Dessert
Bring your prepared entry to the Kid’s Cook Off on Sunday April 27th at 2pm.
For a small donation of $5 ($15 max for family) to the Lemont Food Pantries Voucher Fund friends, family, neighbors, and all in attendance can taste all of the entries then vote on their favorite judging on preparedness, creativity & taste. Age categories will be 5-8; 9-13; 14-18.
Donations of food and funds for the Lemont Food Pantries will be accepted.
The cookbook will be gifted to those families who visit the Food Pantries.
This event will encourage and acknowledge our young “Rachel Ray’s” & “Wolfgang Puck’s” as we raise much-needed funds for our Lemont Food Pantry Voucher Fund.
