Is your Dodgeball Team ready to raise the roof and funds??

This is just a friendly reminder that there is only 1 week left to register and just short 2 weeks from Thursday is the annual Duck, Dive and Dodge for Donations Dodgeball Tournament!!! (see flyer attached)  Hoping that you have your team signed on the dotted line and working out their duck, diving and dodging as they go from the water dispenser to their desk!

This tournament began 4 years ago with just four teams:  Lemont Fire, Lemont Police, Lemont Village and a team from Lemont High School.  Two years ago we grew to 8 teams and last year we had 12 teams opening the tournament up to church groups, school staff & clubs, PTO's, businesses, and organizations.

Plan on being ready to play by 7pm on Thursday Dec 5th in the Lemont Park District CORE Gyms.  I would plan on arriving around 6:30pm to stretch- or just chit chat some game face talk.  We will be using all 3 gyms.  There will be a 50/50 Raffle.  We are asking for a donation at the door for all who are coming to root their team on, either a small donation of a couple dollars, a donation to the Lemont Food Pantry, or a donation of cleaning products and/or personal care items for the Hope and Friendship Christmas Care Box Deliveries.

Each team can consist of 6-10 players.  These players need to actually be from your work, church, youth group, employees, etc.  No going to the gym and recruiting the Dodgeball ringers!!!   6 will be on the court at one time (substitution is allowed on the fly).  The suggested team registration donation is $30 (check made payable to Hope and Friendship Foundation- we are a 501C3 Public Charity).  Please RSVP with me if you haven't already.  I have a couple affirmative commitments already.  I would like to publicize the teams that are playing so as to draw some fans for all of you!
