Volunteers Needed For Final 'Mission Stay Saturday'

The Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking assistance with its final mission day on Aug. 24.

Lemont's Hope and Friendship Foundation is seeking volunteers for its final "Mission Stay Saturday."

On Saturday, Aug. 24, volunteers are needed to help with yard work and small fix-up jobs around town, according to Hope and Friendship founder Terri O'Neill-Borders.

The group meets at the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St. at 8 a.m.

Baked goods are also needed to create care boxes. Items can be dropped at the police station between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
