Village of Lemont Encourages Residents to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts
Residents can get emergency notifications and weather warnings through CodeRED.
The village of Lemont is encouraging residents to sign up to receive emergency alerts and severe weather information through a program called CodeRED.
According to the village website, CodeRED is designed to quickly and efficiently deliver targeted emergency notifications and severe weather warnings directly to residents by phone. The service is free and completely voluntary.
Residents can sign up for CodeRED by visiting the CodeRED Website. Those who need assistance or have additional questions, should contact the Lemont Police Department at 630-257-2229.
