Little Mountain Community Theatre NFP will be accepting registrations for its Theatre Technology Workshop for students entering grades 8 through 12 on March 24 and 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the atrium of the Lemont High School front archway entrance, 800 Porter Street.

The workshop will be held June 16 through 27 at the LHS Performing Arts Center. Participants will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. They will take a process-focused, hands-on approach to learning and designing all aspects of technology for the Acting Workshop for Children production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. Cost is $150.

Creativity, goal setting, and teamwork will be emphasized as students spend mornings receiving instruction and afternoons applying what they learn. Highlights will include designing, constructing and finishing the set; planning and implementing lighting and sound;  working with costumes and props; and learning how to work backstage during a production.
