Lemont Park District Hosts 'Pack the Park' at Covington North
Also on Thursday: A library open house for Lemont area teachers.
Pack the Park: The Lemont Park District will host a "Pack the Park" event at 7 p.m. Thursday at Covington North Park, 1257 Covington Drive. The free event will feature kids games, hot dogs and the movie "Hotel Transylvania."
Open house for local teachers: Lemont area elementary school teachers are invited to the Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., on Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Open House will feature resources, technology and other sharing possibilities that teachers can draw on for use during the upcoming school year. Bagels and juice will be served. The event is free and does not require registration.
