Illinois Street in Lemont to Close Wednesday for Repairs
The road will be closed for six hours between Stephen Street and State Street.
A portion of Illinois Street in downtown Lemont will be closed Wednesday for road repairs.
The road will be shut down from State Street to Stephen Street, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to Lemont Public Works Director Ralph Pukula.
Workers will be repairing the blacktop following a water service leak.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
