Community Invited to Help Make Holidays Bright for Those in Need

The Hope & Friendship Foundation is collecting personal care and cleaning products to create Christmas Care Boxes through Thursday, Dec. 19.

Drop boxes are located in the Lemont Township and Lemont Police Station lobbies.

Personal items needed include deodorant, mouthwash, dental products, hair care items, brushes, lotions/ perfumes, kid themed items, soap/liquid soap, razors and shaving cream. Cleaning products include laundry and dish detergent, antibiotic wipes, spray cleaners, air fresheners/candles, sponges/scrubbers, dust spray and rags, bathroom cleaners, and any all paper products.

For those who would like to sort and create these Christmas Care Boxes, join the Hope & Friendship Foundation from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 20, and from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 21, at the Lemont Township Office, 1115 Warner Ave.
