Students in St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School’s National Junior Honor Society will be collecting non-perishable food items as part of a nationwide “Souperbowl of Caring” effort, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 12 and 13, and Saturday, Jan. 26, at Jewel-Osco, 1202 State St., and Chipain’s Fresh Market, 1100 State St. Donations will benefit Lemont Food Pantries.
