Please join Lemont S.A.L.T. and learn about the Lemont Police Department's K-9 Unit. Officer Brian Kondrat and his trained dog Taser have trained extensively prior to Taser's commission as a police dog. The canine assists the police department with searching buildings, drug searches, and apprehending individuals. We encourage seniors from surrounding areas to attend, and new members are always welcome!

More About Lemont Police Department
The Lemont Police Department, led by Chief Kevin Shaughnessy, is dedicated to serving and protecting the residents of Lemont. The station's mission is to "serve with loyalty, pride and devotion" while using "all available resources both effectively and efficiently to address crime, the causes of crime and the fear of crime in the community."
In May 2010, LPD moved to its new facility at 14600 W. 127th St. Located in the lobby of the new police station is The Kiosk, an interactive system that allows citizens to request services such as vacation watch and lost license plate or driver's license. Residents can also use The Kiosk to apply for the Citizen's Academy, SALT group and Cadet program.
