Is someone in your
family struggling with a mental illness? You are

not alone! There is hope!

NAMI of DuPage County (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) will

be offering the free NAMI Family to Family Education course for families

and caregivers of adults
diagnosed with mental illnesses. The 12-week

series of classes will
be held from 7:00-9:30PM at Knox Presbyterian

Church in Naperville
from January 3, 2013 until March 21, 2013.

Registration is open
through the third class.

The course is offered at no charge and is taught by two trained

teachers who have experienced mental illness in their own families.

Some comments from past participants in this program:

“Hearing each family’s story helped me realize I was not alone.”

“The course is very informative. It gives me a better understanding of

the “system” and the individual with a mental illness. NAMI is

doing a great job in bringing mental illness out in the open and to

the public.”

“The class provided an optimistic outlook for myself and my family.

Also gave me the tools to move forward.”

NAMI DuPage also has drop-in support groups at various locations.
