More About Christ Community Church
Though Christ Community Church was founded in 1960, it just recently opened its doors in Lemont. The church, which is part of the Reformed Church of America, originated as the Reformed Church of Palos Heights. In the late 1990s, the Reformed Church of Palos Heights purchased 13 acres of land in Lemont for a new building. In 2000, the congregation officially changed its name to Christ Community Church and by 2007, the church finally moved to its new location in Lemont.
Today, Christ Community Church offers a weekly worship service on Sundays, as well as ministries for children, teens and adults. The church also offers study groups and missionary opportunities.
