 ry tales come to the summer stage\nThe goal of Lantern Theatre is to pro
 vide the Marist family the opportunity to participate in high-quality\, 
 innovative summer theatre not typical of high school productions. After 
 the success of their big debut\, SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET
  STREET last summer\, Lantern Theatre is back to tackle another of Steph
 en Sondheim&rsquo\;s classics\, INTO THE WOODS.\nINTO THE WOODS combines
  the well-known fairy tales of Cinderella\, Rapunzel\, Jack and the Bean
 stalk\, and Little Red Riding Hood with an original story of a baker and
  his wife\, who desperately want a child. Unfortunately\, they have been
  cursed with childlessness by a witch\, who offers to break their spell 
 if they bring her a cow as white as milk\, a cape as red as blood\, hair
  as yellow as corn\, and a slipper as pure as gold. Eventually\, every c
 haracter gets his or her wish\, but not without discovering what truly h
 appens after "happily ever after."\nEven if you&rsquo\;ve seen the show 
 many times\, Lantern Theatre&rsquo\;s completely redesigned\, restaged\,
  and re-imagined production is sure to make you feel as though you&rsquo
 \;re seeing it for the first time.\nAll performances will be held at Mar
 ist High School&rsquo\;s RedHawk Theater\, 4200 W. 115th St.\, Chicago.\
