Name: Brogan Breed: Beagle mix Age: 1 and a half Sex: Female Personality: Brogan's foster family says she gets along with people and dogs of all sizes, and loves to play. She's low maintenance, but loves toys and chasing squirrels and birds. In foster care, her playmates are Great Danes and a German Shepherd Mix. Although Brogan is much smaller than the other dogs, she holds her own. Brogan is excellent with children and loves to receive attention. She was brought to A Caring Place Humane Society in Westmont after her owners had a baby and could no longer care for her. History: Frosty was left in a metal shed in 100 degree weather without food or water. A rescue in Burr Ridge found out about him and spent four months in court to take him away from his owners. Her previous owners took her to the vet to get spayed, but the vet refused because Penny is pregnant. A volunteer at the shelter who will be fostering Penny expects her to give birth any day!
