Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: The Lemont Park District's Dolphin Summer Team is off to a great start. A group of kids recently competed at a USA meet in Palatine. Owen Ganzer qualified for five individual Junior Olympics events, and several other swimmers came very close to Regional times. The Dolphins have also won dual meets against Wheaton and Hinsdale.
Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: The club is competing year-round for the first time this year under head coach Erik Enslen, who brings more than 20 years experience to the Lemont Park District. The Dolphins program meets the needs of every level of swimmer by competing in the West Suburban Swim Conference with A and B teams, and also competing in USA meets.
