Weekend Best Bets: Lemont Street Fair, Pancake Breakfast, Clothing Resale

1. BMW Championship

2. Children's Toy and Clothing Resale
The First Church of the Nazarene, 12725 Bell Road, is hosting a children's resale event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The sale is cash only. No children or strollers are allowed. For more information, call 708-349-0454.
3. Garage Sale at Lithuanian World Center
A "garage sale" will be held Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lithuanian World Center, 14911 E. 127th St. Clothes, toys, household items and books will be sold to raise money for the center's daily operations. For more information, visit www.lithuanianworldcenter.org.
4. Lemont Outdoor Street Fair
The Lemont Area Historical Society is hosting its annual outdoor street fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Old Stone Church, 306 Lemont St. The fair will include an antique market, craft vendors, fun for kids, pumpkins, food, a DJ and tours of the museum. Holy Cross/HM Marimba Ensemble will perform from 11:30 a..m. to 12:30 p.m., and a professional appraiser will be available from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
5. Daddies and Donuts
The Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St., is hosting a "Daddies and Donuts" event from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Kids ages 3-8 are invited to bring their dads for donuts and great stories. For more information, visit www.lemontlibrary.org.
6. Name That Tune Trivia Night
St. Patrick Church, 200 E. Illinois St., is hosting its third annual "Name That Tune" Trivia Night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Entry is $10 at the door. Teams can be composed of six individuals or fewer.
Pizza, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the St. Patrick Music Ministry.
7. Girl Scouts Pancake Breakfast
The Lemont Girl Scouts are hosting their annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and tater tots. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for kids ages 5-12 and free for kids 4 and under.
