Tune In: 3 Corners Grill and Tap to Appear on 'Chicago's Best' on Sunday
The popular WGN/CLTV show will feature the Lemont restaurant as part of its "Best Burgers" episode.
3 Corners Grill and Tap will be featured Sunday on the popular WGN program "Chicago's Best" during the "Best Burgers" episode.
The restaurant, located at 12371 Derby Road, was selected for its "MiniWiches," which host Brittney Payton sampled last month.
The episode is set to air Sunday at 10 p.m. To celebrate the occasion, the restaurant will offer its signature burgers for just $7 all day.
Kevin Metz and his brother, Jeff, opened 3 Corners Grill and Tap in March 2010 with one goal in mind: provide quality food at a fair price in a casual, comfortable environment.
Known for its American cuisine that is prepared fresh, the restaurant has plenty of classic items on its menu, such as sandwiches, burgers, ribs, fish and chips, and gourmet salads.
Over the past two years, 3 Corners has slowly built a loyal customer base of everyone from families to local golfers, Kevin Metz said.
"There are some Friday nights when the wait is an hour long," he said. "We're incredibly lucky to have so much support from people in this area."
"Chicago's Best" is an Emmy Award-winning show that features the best of Chicago food, lifestyle and entertainment.
The program recently featured the chicken noodle soup and chicken salad sandwiches at Lemont's Sweetwater Deli, 316 Canal St., during the "Best of the Southwest Suburbs" episode.
In July 2011, Nick's Tavern, 221 Main St., was showcased in a segment on "Chicago's Best Burgers." La Dolce Vita, 107 Stephen St., has also been featured.
The show airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on WGN, and replays on CLTV. For more information, check out "Chicago's Best" on Facebook.
