Super Bowl Sunday: Where to Watch the Big Game and Catch Some Deals, Too

Just because the Bears aren’t playing on Sunday doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the big game. So pick a team to root for this weekend and meet your friends at one of the many great spots in Lemont that are offering super deals.

Sunday’s Super Bowl looks to be a really good one, pitting rookie QB Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49’ers against the more seasoned Baltimore Ravens’ leader Joe Flacco. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on CBS.

And even if you’re a loyal Bears fan through and through, let’s face it – there’s no sense sitting home all by yourself on Sunday. So why not meet your friends at one of these spots in Lemont and enjoy their food and drink specials while watching the big game?

3 Corners Grill and Tap, 12371 Derby Road

Visit 3 Corners Grill & Tap, named for its location at the intersection of Derby Road, McCarthy Road and Archer Avenue, and quench your thirst for a deal with a bucket of Miller Lite or Coors Lite for $10 – or a Magic Hat #9 pint for $3 during the big game on Sunday. The grill and tap is also featuring pretzel twists or buffalo wings for $5, its classic burgers for $6.95 each – and half-time raffles with prizes.

Stonehouse Pub, 103 Stephen St.

Go to “where family and friends meet for good times and great food” to enjoy a free buffet during Sunday’s big game – and maybe win a trip for two to Hawaii or Las Vegas while you’re there! Stonehouse will also give away one Bears and one Blackhawk’s jersey to lucky winners. Game day drink specials include $5 jumbo Bloody Marys, $4 Jäger Bombs, $3.50 for any glass of wine and $13.50 buckets. Guests can also save on tasty food on Sunday, with a burger and fry combo going for $3.50 or rack of ribs for $13.95.

The Vault, 308 Canal St.

The Vault will open at 5 p.m. on Sunday, just in time for kickoff. Sit back and enjoy the game on one of the bar’s big screen TVs and save on $10 domestic buckets, $2 apple pie shots or $3 taffy apple shots.

Tap House Grill, 1243 State St.

During the game, Tap House Grill will feature half-price appetizers, as well as all-you-can-eat wings for $10.99. Kids eat free from 5 to 9 p.m., too!  And all day on Sunday, patrons can enjoy $2.50 Miller Lite drafts, $3.50 select micro brew drafts, and, in honor of the big game, $4 Bloody “Hail” Marys.

Illinois Bar and Grill, 1131 State St.

Illinois Bar and Grill has plenty of big-screen TVs so you won’t miss even a minute of the game – and while you’re watching, take advantage of deals on Miller Lite or Coors Lite pitchers for $5 and Bloody Marys for $1 each.

Tom's Place, 110 Stephen St.

This family-owned spot with a rich history in downtown Lemont will provide a free chili-dog buffet with sides at halftime – and special prices ($2.50 per bottle) on Budweiser products and Michelob Ultra all day on Sunday.

Do you know of any other local bars and restaurants that are offering food and drink specials during the big game on Sunday? Tell us in the comments – and we’ll add them to the list!
