Snowstorm Forces Cancellation of All Athletics, Activities at Lemont High School, Dist. 113A

IHSA Class 4A Boys Basketball Regional Semifinal Between Bolingbrook and Lemont has been rescheduled for Wednesday. See below for other cancellations, as well.

 

Lemont High School has announced that all athletics and activities are cancelled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, due to current and anticipated weather and road conditions. This includes practices, meetings, and any community-related events that were scheduled on campus.

Additionally, Batavia High School has cancelled the Lemont-Bolingbrook IHSA Class 4A Sectional boys' basketball game. The IHSA Class 4A Boys' Basketball Regional semifinal between Bolingbrook and Lemont has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 27, at Batavia High School.

Other cancellations today include:

  • Detention
  • Spring Musical read through 
  • Group Interpretation practice 
  • All levels of baseball, girls' soccer, softball and track and field practice.
  • Parent meetings for the Spring Musical and Project Graduation 
  • Practice for the Lemont Bears wrestling team


The Project Graduation meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the LRC.

The Spring Musical parent meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

According to the Emergency Closing Center, after-school and evening activities at Lemont-Bromberek District 113A schools have also been cancelled.
