Happy Hands is by far the best! We absolutely love Mrs. Fisher and all of the amazing staff. The curriculum, activities and sense of community are just fantastic. I will be so sad when my last child completes Happy Hands. They have become family to us.

As a former first grade teacher myself, I am pretty picky when it comes to preschools and curriculum. I have been completely impressed with Happy Hands Preschool! My son loves it there! He has had Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Kennedy, and they are both experienced, professional, caring, and compassionate teachers. All the teachers at Happy Hands have been there forever- and that says a lot about their dedication to this wonderful program. When choosing a preschool, I looked at some key features; class size (only 10 kids per class at Happy Hands), teacher certification/experience (Happy Hands teachers exceeded my expectations), safety (doors are locked and secure while class is in session- strict sign in/out procedure), morals/values/prayers included as part of the curriculum, and opportunities for parental involvement. After 2 years at Happy Hands, I can say without a doubt, I'm very happy I chose to send my son to this preschool. He is going to full day kindergarten next year already reading 20+ sight words and very excited to make new friends. I believe the positive experience he's had at Happy Hands has prepared him well.

My parents sent me to St. Cyril's preschool program, but they no longer have one. I really didn't enjoy it. My sister got to go to Happy Hands (I was so jealous), and loved having Mrs. Fisher!

That's too bad. I hope that they really step up their program with bringing it back. The teacher we had though made it a terrible experience for our entire class, and that was the days when she actually came to school. Luckily she is retiring this year.

My son attended preschool at Happy Hands and we couldn't of been more pleased with their program. A well rounded preschool program was important to us and Happy Hands provided that. Having 10 kids per classroom, each child is able to get individual attention which is also very important for 3 and 4 year olds. I knew my son was safe, nutured, and learning a lot when he was at school.

Happy Hands is a great preschool! Both my girls went to Happy Hands and loved it!! They still talk about their teachers, friends they met, programs they performed for family and friends, and field trips they went on. The teachers make each child feel special and are wonderful teachers. They offer music, motor (like P.E.), and computers to further enrich the already great curriculum. Make sure you check out Happy Hands before making your preschool decision.

As a almost original Alum, I was lucky enough to have my daughter attend HAPPY HANDS, even though I live in another town. I was so sad I was unable to send my son(due to my daughter's school schedule). I would've done it in a heart beat! Although I really like my current pre-school, there is no comparison to Happy Hands in what they are able to provide. I compared about 10 places, none provided as much as they did. Plus, you get the added bonus of the program being Christian-based, not to mention their typical day is 30 minutes longer than your average school. Love the place, the teachers, everything!

Lemont Montessori is absolutely wonderful. We travel from New Lenox because the school is that amazing. My children have the most caring and nurturing teachers. The Montessori philosophy is such a natural approach to learning, we feel blessed to have found such a wonderful community at MSOL.

Our first born began preschool at First Church of the Nazarene. We LOVE it and are so happy this was an option for us. Sharon Garcia and staff do an AMAZING job with the kids and make holidays so very special for the families. They also offer a Lunch pals program where your child can stay till 1:30 and do an assortment of activitiesu and socialize with other kids. My husband & I really want
our children to have the religious foundation and our son loves that aspect of this program and is learning so much. HIGHLY recommend First Church!

Happy Hands is a top-notch preschool. As a former elementary school teacher, I had a list of qualities I was looking for in a preschool for my daughter. I observed six preschools, but none met all the criteria I was looking for in a good school for my daughter. Happy Hands was the last preschool I looked at, & I was impressed! I remember telling Mrs. Fisher that Happy Hands was it! It has amazing, compassionate teachers who love children. The walls are always filled with beautiful artwork. Music, motor class, & computer class are offered there. The students put on many amazing performances like a fashion show, tea party, and Christmas musical. And the list goes on! My vote is for Happy Hands!

Our 3 children are proud to be Happy Hands Graduates. The teachers at Happy Hands are dedicated, caring, and full of energy. The curriculum prepares the kids for elementary school. Happy Hands has a pianist "Poppy" for the music class which the kids love. They also have separate computer and motor teachers. The building is feature double entry doors with a security system and the school is DCFS licensed. The field trips are educational and fun. The art projects continue to decorate our walls. My kids still talk about the programs they performed in. Their are also philanthropic opportunities for the kids to participate in such as monthly food pantry drives, and trike a thon for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. We love Happy Hands and all of the teachers. Thanks for giving our kids a great start!!!

The education and intangibles that my children have received from Happy Hands are second to none! This is the best place within 100 miles for your kids to get an excellent out-of-your-house learning experience. The teachers treat your kids like their own and work very hard to ensure each child's success today and to the future. Mrs. Fisher and her staff are true educators- not re-titled baby sitters. Lessons that stick with the children for life are taught at Happy Hands- in a fun, wholeseome, and interesting way.
If your kids mean the most to you- then they deserve the very best--Like Happy Hands. I remember standing in below zero weather for hours on sign-up days to get my kids a spot at the best pre-school ever--and now you don't have to freeze to sign your crew up. Happy Hands is truly the best value available for your children. When I'm asked about pre-schools in this area, I say, "Happy Hands- because your kids deserve the best.......especially since they will pick your nursing home some day.

Lemont Park District pre-school has been a wonderful place for my son to attend. He has had great teachers and really enjoys every moment spent there. I feel they have done a great job preparing the kids for kindergarten. He told me today he is so sad that school is ending soon- definitely the sign of a great pre-school!

Montessori School of lemont does a superb job prepping a child for a lifetime of learning. The campus provides an excellent environment for a child to learn. The faculty are professional; yet, nurturing to a child's curiosity and love for learning. This school provides a child with life skills as well as a unsurpassed education. This is a top notch school!

Happy Hands was an excellent start for all four of my children! They provided an enriching, fun enviroment that facilitated my children to develop their social and academic skills. With their small class sizes, my children received much individual attention from the wonderful teachers. My children's creativity soared with the art, music, and science projects (we still have three frogs that were raised from tadpoles in Mrs. Kennedy's class). After many years, my friends and family are still talking about what excellent programs Happy Hands provided-the Christmas Show, Fashion Show, and Grandparent Activities to name just a few.
Thanks Happy Hands for providing such a fun and nuturing preschool!

Two of my children are/have been students at the Lemont Park District preschool. We all love it! The teachers are extremely friendly and connect well with both the students and parents. The curriculum prepares students well for success in kindergarten, and the various add-on classes let you customize your child's preschool experience to their needs/interests!

Happy Hands has an excellent curriculum and staff. It's such a friendly enviroment where parents and teachers interact easily. The class sizes are small, which allows the teachers to do so much with the kids. There is a good balance between ABC's, 123's and fun. It's definately a place that fosters creativity and puts emphasis on positive social interaction.

Both my boys have been part of the Lemont Park District Preschool and have loved it. Having been able to do a ton of mommy and me classes through the Park District, both boys were extremely comfortable with the environment and the teachers. Also the add on classes to the preschool program really allowed for a well balanced experience and helped prepare my older one for kindergarten, especially with their Ready Set Read classes. The teachers are all very loving and really care about our kids.

Everest is excellent. I am sure there are many good programs but we fell in love with Everest's commitment to forming leaders. The school is full of children who are overflowing with confidence and a sense of community. It starts at the pre-k level and builds from there we have 4 children and are thankful for a place such as Everest.

Both of my children went through 2 years at Lemont Park District preschool and I think it was the perfect blend of fun and learning. They have so many years of serious learning ahead who better than a park district to teach them how to function in a group and enjoy learning not only letters and numbers but sharing and having fun!
