Coming fast on the heels of toll rate hike, Metra is also increasing its fares. Starting Wednesday, ticket prices will increase as much as 35 percent.

I seldom use Metra from Lemont because of their schedule. I would have to spend all day in the city if I had a two hour meeting or wanted to go to the museum or go shopping.
