The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department for arrests and incidents Nov. 13-18. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Nov. 13
Suspended License, Speeding
James B. Hitt III, 59, of the 300 block of River Road, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. in the 500 block of McCarthy Road. He was charged with driving while license is suspended and speeding and issued a Nov. 27 court date in Bridgeview.
Wednesday, Nov. 14
Suspended License, Defective Windshield
Maria D. Torres, 35, of the 400 block of Grover St. in Joliet, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. at New Ave. and Lockport St. she was charged with driving while license is suspended and defective windshield and issued a Jan.7 court date in Bridgeview.
Hit and Run
Aiste Rakstyle, 22, of the 1200 block of Woburn Drive was arrested at 7:25 p.m. following an accident at the Lemont overpass. She was charged with hit and run and issued a Dec. 11 court date in Bridgeview.
Thursday, Nov. 15
Telephone Harassment
David J. Giles, 39, of the 100 block of Caterpillar in Joliet, was arrested at 9:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of Ashbury Drive. He was charged with harassment by telephone and issued a Jan. 7 court date in Bridgeview.
Criminal Trespass, Resisting a Peace Officer

Criminal Trespass, Resisting a Peace Officer
Charles Hill Jr., 49, of the 4500 block of Laporte in Chicago, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. in the 16200 block of New Ave. He was charged with criminal trespass and resisting a peace officer and issued a Dec. 11 court date in Bridgeview.
Leaving Accident Scene, Failure to Reduce Speed
Jonathan M. Palzer, 23, of the 400 block of McCarthy Road, was arrested at 3:02 a.m. in the 500 block of Illinois St. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Palzer was issued a Jan. 7 court date in Bridgeview.
Sunday, Nov. 18
No Driver’s License, Improper Plate Display
Dorota M. Liszka, 32, of the 7800 block of Melvina in Burbank, was arrested at 9:41 p.m. at Archer Ave. and Oak Tree Lane. She was charged with no valid driver’s license and improper display of plates and issued a Jan. 7 court date in Bridgeview.
