Police Blotter: DUI, Suspended Licenses

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lemont Police Department Jan. 20-21. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Jan. 20

Suspended License and Registration, No Insurance

Steven R. Jones, 33, of the 8900 block of Butterfield Lane in Orland Park, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. at 131st St. and Derby Road. He was charged with driving while license is suspended, driving while registration is suspended and no valid insurance, and was issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Patrick D. King, 28, of the 400 block of Holden in Romeoville, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. at Main and Holmes streets. He was charged with driving while license is suspended and issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Willie C. Lindsey, 32, of the 5600 block of Lafayette in Chicago, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. at Main St. and Walker Road. He was charged with driving while license is suspended, no insurance and speeding, and was issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Monday, Jan. 21

Suspended license, Speeding

Dennis D. Nance, 24, of the 100 block of Baker St. in Joliet, was arrested at 3:11 p.m. in the 100 block of Timberline Drive. He was charged with driving while license is suspended and speeding, and was issued a Feb. 15 court date in Bridgeview.

Members of the public are reminded that these complaints contain only charges and are not proof of the defendant’s guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the government’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
