42% Latinos....seems like Lemont Police go out of their way to target anyone who looks the part. Week after week a huge percentage of the tickets given are to people with Hispanic surnames....just saying.

Or maybe they are the ones with no tail lights, head lights, broken windshields, failure to yield to emergency vehicles, and having an “accident” when drunk with no insurance.

Wendy,
Did the fact that the Latinos in these examples committed actual dangerous violations in our community ever cross your mind?
I guess people with suspended licenses, no licenses, no insurance and no brake lights should be free to drive through our town with no recourse? If they are Latino then so be it. Latinos are not prevented from attaining drivers licenses, insurance, or brake lights. Now if it said "So and So was pulled over for being Latino" then you would have a valid point, but since you choose to share a completely ignorant view point and not use common sense then I assume this point will be lost on you anyhow.
I also have nothing but seething rage for people who do not yield to emergency vehicles. I think people who are ticketed for this offense should lose their license for 6 months as a rule. It's not only inconsiderate, ignorant and rude, but the people in those vehicles are performing very meaningful tasks that are very time sensitive.
Maybe one day a loved one you know will be in an ambulance when every second counts and this person will be driving down the road. I wonder how you would feel then? Or if your house was on fire and that same person was holding up the trucks from being able to save your home, or family inside?
I think these infractions are dangerous no matter what race these violators are. So next time you are "just saying" something, make it worthwhile. Right now the point you attempted to make only validates the actions you condemn.

Wendy,
I'm so glad the others on here disagree with your comment... One of the 3 vehicles that Luis hit, happened to be my parents van. He totaled 3 vehicles, incuding his own. Drinking and driving is a serious crime in itself, regardless of age, race, or sex. Thank goodness no one else was driving their vehicles while he was, or someone could've been killed.

OMG! Can anyone have enough common sense to take race, age, gender, etc... out of a serious equation??? One of my parents vehicles was totaled by this @##*?!^! & I'm being nice...the gall of it all! My parents vehicle was not hit once but twice by Luis M. Sosa as he hit it once then backed up & rammed it again pushing it up onto the approximate 3 foot high sidewalk in front of their home where it was parked, cracking the sidewalk, then proceeded around it to smash into the two others, one mentioned here. It was heard that a "girl" was with him whom got out of the car at the guard rail prior, supposedly running down Czacki. This jerk obviously had no regard for anyone in his drunken stupor, especially those up in age. It has nothing to do with Latino's, etc...it has to do with hit and run dui! It also appears that Luis was using Bell Valley Farms Address on his DL. Look up the owner of that & see how much garbage he is in. It is sad to say the least. Is Luis going to pay for my parents vehicle? The other two totaled vehicles? What about the sidewalk repairs? Shame on him!!!
