The Village of Lemont kicked off St. Patrick's Day celebrations a week early with its annual parade and festival in downtown Lemont on Saturday.

Parade participants included Lemont Mayor Brian Reaves, village trustees, Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno (R-Lemont), Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-3rd), the Lemont Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Lemont Area Historical Society, Lemont Lions, Lemont Fire Protection District, Lemont Police Department, Lemont Park District, Lemont Public Works and the Hughes Academy of Irish Dance.
