Batavia—Man in Car vs Semi Crash Died at Hospital—Martin Baureis, 26, of Johnsburg, Ill., died at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. His car collided with a semi-tractor on Route 72.

Glen Ellyn—Newton Avenue Fire Leaves Home Uninhabitable—Glen Ellyn Fire Officials responded to a fire Monday morning in the 200 block of Newton Avenue. Officials said family and friends were assisting the family.
