No Time to Shop for the Holidays? Check out Midnight Madness Friday in Downtown Lemont

Participating merchants will stay open from 6 p.m. until midnight Friday for your shopping convenience.

 

Lemont shoppers can shop ‘til they drop during Midnight Madness in the village’s historic downtown Friday. Participating businesses will stay open until midnight during the event – and specialty vendors will sell their wares at various locations throughout the downtown area.

Midnight Madness festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Start your shopping at Belle De Jour at 108 Stephen St., and be sure to pick up a Midnight Madness map so you don’t miss out on the many specials and unique merchandise being offered. (You may also print out the map featured with this story before you leave home – so you can hit the ground running.)

Participating Midnight Madness merchants and specials will include:

  • H & H Family Restaurant, 116 Stephen St. (Buy one dinner or one Margarita and get one half price)
  • Bart Barter’s Treasure Trading Post, 114 Stephen St. (Free hot chocolate)
  • Tom’s Place, 108 Stephen St. (10 percent off food orders; $4 bombs)
  • Belle De Jour, 108 Stephen St. (Free coffee and snacks)
  • The Nail Inn & School of Cosmetology, 115 Stephen St. (Free refreshments; tons of specialty vendors)
  • Aurora Rose, a Unique Boutique, 111 Stephen St. (Free Santa’s meatballs)
  • Stonehouse Pub, 103 Stephen St. (Free pictures with “Drunken Santa” starting at 8:30 p.m.; $3 Vegas bombs)
  • Pawz & Klawz, 447 Talcott St. (Free refreshments and dog treat plus free picture of Santa and your pet from 6-8 p.m.; donations will go to Suburban Sheltie Rescue)
  • Front Street Cantina, 319 Front St. (Live music from “David’s Bazaar,” $3 deals, Bottles of Sol, Bohemia, Tecate and well drinks; $5 tiramisu shots and Midnight Madness martini)
  • The Vault Café and Bar, 308 Canal St. (Specialty vendors, free food samples from 7-8 p.m.; $2 apple pie and taffy apple shots) 
  • Entrees to Excellence – German Food Company, 239 Canal St. (Gift baskets, wine, seafood, bakery baskets and cigars; free steak and ham samples; live music)
  • Main Inn, 302 Main St. (Specialty vendors, $5 PBR pitchers, $1.50 pints)
