Muffins Ice Cream Shoppe to Open Saturday, May 4
The store will open its doors at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, after being closed for the winter season.
Muffins Ice Cream Shoppe will reopen Saturday after being closed for the winter season.
The ice cream and coffee shop, located at 400 E. Illinois St. in downtown Lemont, will open at 11 a.m.
The store will no longer be open at the start of the weekday commute. Its new hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Muffins, which opened in April 2011, boasts a large variety of beverages and sweets, including homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt, cupcakes, coffee, tea and—as you might expect—muffins.
The shop proudly serves Plush Horse Ice Cream, an area favorite of Palos Park since 1937.

New this year is Flavor Burst soft serve ice cream, which will be available in eight flavors.
