Lemont Legends Cruise Nights 2012 Schedule

The 2012 car show series runs 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Wednesday, from June 6 to Aug. 29.

 

The streets of downtown Lemont will be lined with classic cars and trucks every Wednesday this summer for the 13th annual Lemont Legends Cruise Nights.

The summer series, organized by the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce, runs 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Wednesday, June 6 through Aug. 29. The event is held on Main, Lemont and Canal streets in the village's downtown area.

In addition to the dozens of classic cars that will be showcased each week, Cruise Nights also feature entertainment and food from several local vendors.

The shows' themes are as follows:

June 6: Calling All Cars

June 13: Street Rod

June 20: Chevy

June 27: Ford

July 11: Convertible

July 18: Mopar

July 25: Buick

Aug. 1: Olds

Aug. 8: Pontiac

Aug. 15: Custom Truck

Aug. 22: Emergency vehicles

Aug. 29: Antiques

I have deleted a comment due to both offensive language and the use of an alias. I don't condone either. Also, please keep in mind that some articles are posted across 20-25 Patch sites, so some fake names are coming from other towns.
