Local children and their families are invited to the Lemont Junior Woman's Club's annual Breakfast with Santa benefit on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club, 12294 Archer Ave. in Lemont. Two seatings are available for the buffet-style breakfast: 8:30-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
The popular event will feature table-side magic performances, a horse-drawn sleigh ride, and, of course, a visit with Santa. Mrs. Claus will also be on hand to read her favorite holiday stories to children, and kids can make a holiday craft in Santa’s workshop.
Guests are encouraged to bring a camera to snap a photo with Santa, as the club will not provide a photographer at the event this year.
Attendees are asked to bring a wrapped gift for a local child in need. All proceeds from the benefit will be used to purchase birthday gifts for the children throughout the year.
Tickets for Breakfast with Santa cost $22 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $5 for ages 1-3. There is no charge for children under the age of 12 months.
Reservations must be made in advance – and the popular event is likely to sell out. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Lindsey at 773-562-8353.
