Gift-Giving Ideas: A Shopping Spree on Stephen Street
Here’s a sampling of some of the unique gifts that can be found at a few of the independent shops in downtown Lemont. Please feel free to add your suggestions in the comments, too.
Did you glance at the calendar today and suddenly realize that Christmas is less than two weeks away? Are you in all-out panic mode over what to pick up for those hard-to-buy-for people on your gift-giving list this year?
Ok, maybe that’s just me … but at any rate, I took a stroll down Stephen Street the other day and was amazed by the terrific gift ideas I found at the independent stores in just one block. The shop owners and clerks were more than helpful, and the experience was interesting, unhurried–and downright delightful.
I’m happy to share a few of the gift-giving ideas I found on Stephen Street and please feel free to add your suggestions from stores in other parts of town in the comments section of this story, as well.
