Front Street Cantina Opens in Downtown Lemont

The long-awaited Front Street Cantina has finally opened for business.
The restaurant, which serves authentic Mexican cuisine, is located at 319 Front St. in the Front Street Lofts of downtown Lemont. The menu, which includes lunch and dinner options, features a variety of soups, burritos, tacos, enchiladas and specialty entrees.
Ben DeVee, co-manager of the restaurant, said he is working with the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce to organize a formal grand opening in the coming weeks.
Front Street Cantina franchises are already open in Naperville, Geneva, Plainfield and Wheaton.

You better go hungry to this place as the portions are huge and you'll want to eat every bite. The martini's are fantastic as well as the margarita's. My favorite entree; the shredded beef chimichanga with cheese. The atmosphere is so... cool large high ceilings, overly large corner bar and a very friendly staff. We will be back for sure!
