The crowd at Lemont High School's annual Faculty Idol competition was treated to a surprise performance Friday night.
Prior to the first act, four longtime staff members—including District 210 Superintendent Sandy Doebert—took the stage as part of a musical group called "the Old-Timers." What started as a performance on the kazoo turned into a flash mob to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem with more than 30 teachers and administrators.
The sixth annual Faculty Idol competition featured nine musical groups made up of both students and teachers. The event was hosted by the school's Speech program.
