How many sick days do congressmen get to take with full pay? Also what kind of insurance pays for weeks of stay at Mayo clinic? Most psyche patients would be pressured out after 3-5 days in the hospital. I believe he is sick but I am very surprised of the perks congressmen have.

As the IEA collects 135 MILLION in teachers dues annually and 50 MILLION has gone to fund and pay the Illinois Politicians(Democrats)...Michael Madigan, Lisa Madigan, Blago and Cullerton to name a few. The teachers are paid by the taxpayers. The school curriculum and system of funding are mandated by the gov't. Public education is government education paid for and with other peoples money. I feel sorry for people who work in the private sector. It is toast. Job cuts have only just begun. As the healthcare law is implemented, it will only get worse. On top of the actual cuts, full time employment will be a thing of the past in many industries. The trillions of dollars of capital sitting on the sidelines will not be invested. Businesses will downsize even further and expect more from those who do actually have jobs. They will get by for less by stretching those that are there. Sad, nobody cares about growth. We have no growth in the last 4 years and it is accepted. If you make 45,000 or less in this country, it is easier to stay at home and take the goodies from uncle sam. More people are opting for that plan on a weekly basis.
