'Community Is' Open House: Viewfinder

Dozens of Lemont students and parents gathered at the Lemont Center for the Arts on Wednesday for a special open house.

Earlier this year, Lemont Loves the Arts sponsored the . Participating schools were: Old Quarry Middle School, Central, River Valley, Oakwood, Everest Academy, St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick's School and St. Cyril & Methodius.

Participating students submitted a range of entries, including drawings, photos, original songs and poetry. All works reflected the program's theme this year, "Community Is..."
