Belle de Jour In Style Closes in Downtown Lemont
Select merchandise will continue to be sold at the boutique's sister store, Belle de Jour Salon.
Belle de Jour In Style is closing its doors after three years in downtown Lemont.
Owner Michele Zaper made the announcement Sunday on Facebook, saying the boutique would be closing at the beginning of the year due to the economy.
"We have enjoyed the parties, the fundraisers, the car shows and all the other events that we have done together," she wrote.
Zaper said the store will continue to sell some its merchandise at its sister store, Belle de Jour, located at 108 Stephen St.
A closing sale will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. All merchandise—including dresses, casual attire and accessories—will be 50-percent off.

ANOTHER one bites the dust. So sorry for the owner. I know how hard self employment can be. Maybe my idea brought up at the village meeting about springing for an additional off ramp leading to Downtown was so stupid after all.
