Parking permits for commuters who ride METRA's Heritage Corridor Line from Lemont will go on sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Lemont Village Hall’s temporary location at Central School, 410 McCarthy Road.

Each commuter is limited to the purchase of one permit, and permits will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap permits will be available for qualifying riders.

Commuter parking permit fees are as follows:  $50 for one quarter; $98.50 for six months; $147 for three quarters; and $194 for a full year.

Commuters may also purchase a daily parking permit for $1 at the train station in the METRA lot at 101 Main St. in downtown Lemont.
