On May 11^th Everest Academy’s gym turned into an amazon inhabited by exotic animals. Everest students watched in amazement as “Lil’ Critters” brought in and presented to them the animals. Students were allowed to touch and pet some of them and ask questions about them. This was a wonderful day for the PreK-3 – 2^nd grade students. Some of the exotic animals included a hedgehog, a parrot, a tarantula, and snakes.  The students were amazed that people were actually handling these animals so calmly. These little critters were interesting!  “The day was definitely a great success and was a great opportunity for our children to have some fun while continuing to learn and broaden their horizons”, said Mrs. Waligora, an Everest mom.
